Media Release: CELA’s Anastasia Lintner to Speak at The Great Lakes Chloride Forum – October 4, 2017

Anastasia Lintner will be speaking on a panel at The Great Lakes Chloride Forum, being held on Wed, Oct 4 in Toronto.

The Great Lakes Chloride Forum is being presented by the US Consulate General, Toronto, WWF Canada, Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, and Gowling WLG, in consultation with the Smart About Salt Council & Ontario Good Roads Association.

The Great Lakes Chloride Forum aims to “share best practices, encompassing of liability and environmental objectives, in the application of road salt that balances public safety and healthy freshwater ecosystems.”

Dr Lintner will be participating in Session 4: “The elephant in the room: Liability”. After the Forum, a working group will be established to “ensure implementation of best practices and key learnings moving forward.”
