Luke Wintjes

Luke Wintjes is a secondary school teacher, librarian and curriculum leader at Ursula Franklin Academy, a small specialized school in the Toronto District School Board. Prior to teaching, Luke worked on various environmental and development projects, including cycling advocacy, green construction and coordination of youth involvement in the Earth Summit of 1992. He was also chair of the board of Canadian Student Pugwash and worked for Parks Canada in Georgian Bay.

Luke has a BSc from Trent University and a MES from York, with studies related to geography, environment, and community organization.
