What is your role and how long have you been involved with CELA?
I started at CELA in the middle of July as the 2023-2024 articling student.

What inspired you to get involved in environmental law and public policy?
I became interested in environmental law after participating in the University of Detroit Mercy’s environmental law clinic, which specifically focused on environmental justice.

How do you think we can best approach this challenge?

A transition to renewable and clean energy sources would help to reduce pressure on Canada’s natural resources while also lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

If you were the Leader of the World, what environmental law or policy would you implement?

Promote more sustainable methods of transportation, including increasing the accessibility of electric vehicles and public transit in order to help reduce emissions.

When you’re not working on environmental issues, what do you like to do?
