Submission on Draft Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality
CELA and Swim Drink Fish Canada have provided comments on the draft Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality: Indicators of Fecal Contamination.
Impaired recreational water quality is a significant public health and environmental issue across the country. The Canadian Environmental Law Association and Swim Drink Fish Canada support a scientific, risk-assessment standard for fecal contamination and a renewed focus on identifying and addressing the sources of
pollution of our waterways.
