The Canadian Child Care Federation, Canadian Environmental Law Association, Canadian Health Association for Sustainability and Equity, Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Environment, Environmental Health Clinic – Women’s College Hospital, For Our Kids, Ontario Public Health Association, and Toronto Community for Better Child Care wrote to the Premier of Ontario and Minister of Education to support cooling in child care facilities. Children attending child care that is not cooled are facing serious health impacts because of sweltering indoor environments.
