In response to the National Strategy Respecting Environmental Racism and Environmental Justice Act (also known as Bill C-226) passed in June 2024, environmental and health organizations have prepared a joint statement to inform some of the key elements that should be considered in the development of the national strategy respecting environmental racism and environmental justice, as required in the Act. The national strategy is due to be released in 2026.
