Every person in Canada has a right to a healthy environment now recognized under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA). The Government of Canada is required to develop an Implementation Framework by 2025 to outline how to consider the right to a healthy environment. Our submission provides initial comments and recommendations in response to the Federal Government’s Discussion Document for the development of the Implementation Framework on the right to a healthy environment.
