CELA provided comments in respect to ERO Posting Number 019-8767 in respect of a regulatory framework for commercial-scale geologic carbon storage projects in Ontario. CELA recommends that additional commercial-scale carbon storage projects and consideration of newer carbon storage technologies proceed very slowly if at all. There are many risks related to carbon storage technologies; risks to the environment and to human and ecosystem health.
