All peoples in Canada have new legal rights to a healthy environment under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. The government of Canada released its Implementation Framework required under CEPA to support the right to a healthy environment. Environmental organizations wrote a letter to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change in support of the RTHE and actions needed to protect these rights.
