No Clearcuts Kingston (NCK), a non-profit residents’ group, announced that it has retained the Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA) to represent the group in an upcoming Ontario Land Tribunal hearing on the proposed multi-residential and commercial development of a former industrial site in Kingston.
CELA has submitted comments in response to a Review of a Place to Grow and Provincial Policy Statement ERO Number 019-6177.
CELA has provided a submission to the Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy on Bill 39, the repeal of the Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Act, 2005 and the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan and boundary regulation and the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan (which are the affiliated ERO postings 019-6216, 019-6217 and 019-6218).
